We can keep the height-of-cut a little longer and still deliver the desired green speed.  And, it's better for overall health of the turf.  A longer grass blade has longer roots, and this provides a healthier plant.

 

"Jacobsen has a true turf groomer.  It only goes into the turf at a specified depth.  Other groomers can be too aggressive, but Jacobsen's system does exactly what it is supposed to do, which is stand up the grass and allow for a better quality-of-cut.  We usually groom once a week, but if there's a big tournament we'll do it everyday.
